Hop, Skip and a Jump

Well
I spent the afternoon dawdling around
Monaco´s Japanese gardens
with the same young woman from yesterday evening.

accompanied her to tea
on the Atlantis II
although she was forced to
resort to threats to get me aboard
that stinkpot monstrosity

it may have five floors
be in the neighborhood of two hundred feet long
and obscenely garish in every way
but
if it doesn´t have a sail
it is still just a stinkpot
to me

[so I am fussy, sue me]

anyway
after tea I excused myself
and went for a walk on my own
it was quite pleasant

but I decided
my mission in monaco having been completed
[maniacal plots and insidious scheming included free of charge]
that I would take my leave

so
I hopped on a chopper to Nice
grabbed a quick flight to Madrid
and
am now quite comfortably settled
into a most lavish hotel

and with that I shall rest
or perhaps head out for some dancing
I have not yet decided.

but regardless
I will see you all
tomorrow
and hopefully one of you
a whole lot closer than
the rest.
