for all the claims
of the virtue and desirability
the absolute rarity of truth

the supply
will always exceed
the demand

we are race that can not survive on truth

selective truth perhaps but not truth

absolute truth is
beyond any of us
to know about ourselves
or others

how can we ask from others
what we are unable to give ourselves

i can recognize your

trust
loyalty

to know in your heart
that what tender connections
you have made with another person
have not been betrayed

that they have been cherished and upheld
to the same degree which you hold them

dishonesty does not offend our spirit
break our hearts

it is the disloyalty that troubles us
our idealism adds dishonesty

one that is convienent
because we are all
continuously guilty of it
