I have spent
two fraggin hours
on the phone
with the most moronic
fraggin tech support person
in the fraggin world

The conversation went
something like this

ME:
"Hi, I am having a problem with my anti-virus software.
I am receiving the following message when I try
to initiate a scan on my system:
'Error: Unable to access license file'
and then it gives me a
no license file found so fuck off buddy
message, I have already tried to
uninstall and re-install it"

HIM:
"hmm did you reboot between
attempts when you re-installed it"

ME: Yes

HIM:
ok well
I want to uninstall it again
and try a couple of other steps

(Side note: having been a tech support person
in a former life, I know why this is done, and primarily it
is to cover your ass in case the person on the other
end of the phone is a moron, but occasionally, there
are some things, like files that don't get deleted by
the uninstall app, that they know to look for, so
I will humor him)

ME: Ok
the uninstall app is running,
is finished
is asked if I want to reboot

HIM: no
go to start
search, find files or folders
and search for
"Ino_F*"

ME: K
no file found

HIM:
hmm
do you have show hidden files enabled

ME: yes

HIM: Can you go to
Tools, Options

ME: (annoyed now) yes
I have show all files selected
and have de-selected
hide system files

HIM: umm
ok
lets go ahead and reboot

ME: ok it is
rebooting
it is up
am logging in
ready

HIM: ok lets re-install

ME: K
installing
it is done
it wants to reboot

HIM: reboot

ME: rebooting
logging in

nope still not working

HIM:
hmm
let me check with my lead

(ten minute musical interlude starring Twisted Sister)

Hmm, lets try uninstalling it
and reinstalling it again

(Repeat)
(for two fraggin hours)

then I got transferred
to someone else
who
fixed it
in less than
5 minutes
