Actually this post
has nothing to do with the title
it just amuses me

Had a fabulous night
went out with a couple of the boys
and some women they knew

Much dancing
a little drinking
am relaxing the drinking a bit
figure I could use a little break
nine tequila shots last Saturday
and several other drinks
was a we bit more
than I should have had
but I wasn't driving
anyway
at times its good
to lay back a bit

was just in the groove
all night
danced with one of the girls
most of the night
she was cute
not spectaculer
she could move
quite fun to dance with...
kissed like a bloated fish
not an appealing bloated fish either
the kind of limp slobbery lips
that you fear will
slip over your face
and suffocate you

regardless

Tonight was a lot of fun

Sleep well my loves

I have a confession
I have lived my life in shame and denial
taking grave steps
to avoid this but it is now time
for a reckoning
I must face it, find the strength

I am completely inept
with a jump rope

I think I am just missing the gene for it

I have added jumping rope
to my exercise routine
good cardio workout
there is only one problem

I cant jump rope
no
I am not just bad at it
I fail completely

At least with a hula hoop
I can get a few spins
before crashing to the earth

I can't get a single jump
without cheating

actually
today
after much effort
I think
I may have gotten
three whole loops

without
crashing to the ground
legs entwined or
unwinding myself
from its strangling grasp

I need to go shopping
for a few things
but am looking forward to it

Boneless breast of chicken
marinated in a cream vignette
encrusted with bread crumbs
and broiled with butter

Served with

Grilled asparagus
drizzled in butter
lightly infused with garlic

Roasted garlic & potato knishes
made from scratch this afternoon

Brandy infused chocolate raspberry torte
