twenty four hours to go ... ... i wanna be sedated

so anyway
i am back in the civilized world

unfortunately earlier than expected

i have accquired a staph infection
on my leg
a very very nasty thing

so i am in
santiago and
dosed up on
cephalexin and
painkillers

waiting for
my hotel restaurant to open
so i can get some dinner
[damn room service only serves sandwiches]
[i want real food]
and retire to bed
for more sleep

i will be in santiago for
atleast a week recovering
before i set out again
to adventure

what to do with an unexpected month
in south america

this is almost
a civilized county
[if only they had]
[decent bourbon]

oh yes and
i
shaved my head
[mister clean feels goooooood]

as these drugs have
me skipping way off the
baseline

Be careful of that staff infection.

Some poor bastard on Death Row in TX lost a leg to one a couple of months ago. It seems he petitioned for getting off because they wouldn't give him Prostetic to walk down the row, but he got his (one month) repreave because he started singing about other murders he'd done.

I have no idea if this will be of any help to you in your situation.

it is amusing and
amusement always helps

otherwise
i am taking it seriously
even laying off the booze
[which isnt hard]
[seeing as they dont have]
[civilized alcohol down here]
[read "decent bourbon"]
and being retentive about
making each date with
Keflex on each six hour
period

can you imagine how much
it sucks
to finally be in a bed
after fifty some days
and have to wake up
at midnight and six am
to take a friggin pill

i havent had a decent
nights sleep in
four days besides

arrggghhh

oh well
only six more days
till i am off this crap
and hopefully
healthy

But then again I spent a couple of years in my twenties making some sort of anti-capatilist statement of living without furniture.

I had my mac sprawled on the floor, right next to my David Haffler stereo... God I used to be a dick.
