ive taken it to a whole new level. im Anti-Vegitarian. not only do i eat meat, but ive taken to teasing and harrasing the people that dont, cause most of them piss me off ...

i wouldnt go so far as to say i make fun of them... im just against the logic...it seems hypocritical to me...of course that depends on the individual....vegitarians who dont eat meat becuase of the chemicals instilled and are tryng to keep there bodies as chem-free as possible make sense to me...as do the health conscious 'i only eat what my body needs' people.

the 'i dont eat meat, cause its mean to the fuzzy wittle animal' people that bother me....usually, i find them a bit twisted...there benevolence(sp?) usually only extends to the cute animals...ie "boycott the tuna industry cause they kills dolphins!"....fuck the dolphins. what about the tuna? that sort of thing.....

"im at the top of my food chain....and i celebrate it."

btw, you just made my friends list.

why? unless they're strapping you to a chair & forcing you to eat nothing but vegetables, how does it affect you in any way?

quite a bit of it is internal...

i dislike the attitude, the hipocracy(sp?), and the dirty looks....

dont get me wrong, for those that keep their opinions to themselves, more power to them...and im open to discussion on it just about anytime...but the only time i ever hear about it is in a restaurant...which i find rude and distasteful...

what on earth? no one i know who is vegetarian practices any of those. maybe your friends are just bitches.

hmmm...that could very well be true....ill have to look at that...if you're right...then i owe a few apoligies...

[identity profile] xaotica.livejournal.com 2001-12-07 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)

hypocrisy is prevalent in everyone, though

and i don't see how being vegetarian is inherently hypocritical

Re:

[identity profile] cire.livejournal.com 2001-12-07 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
its not inherent....

and as far as prevalence...that doesnt mean i have to like it....

[identity profile] kremlingforce.livejournal.com 2001-12-06 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"most of these people piss me off, so i'll make fun of the whole lot!"

your reasoning skills are unsurpassed, sir.

not that i am sure that i believe in god in the first place..

but if he did exist..

he didn't make 'em with their beaks burned off and stick them in tiny cages
shitting on each other.

it's not eating meat that i have a problem with in & of itself... it's how the
animal is treated before its death.

[identity profile] kingnixon.livejournal.com 2001-12-20 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
have you ever watched a cat playing with a mouse? animals can be very cruel. not that this justifies people being cruel, but yes god did make things this way

[identity profile] xaotica.livejournal.com 2001-12-20 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
cats don't play with 300+ mice at once, though

[identity profile] plural.livejournal.com 2001-12-20 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
mother nature
knows not mercy

cruelty and savagery
are her native tongues

and we
arogant man
seek to
be superior
to her

but what of our nature
does not come from her?

[identity profile] xaotica.livejournal.com 2001-12-21 10:21 am (UTC)(link)
how is it arrogant to strive to improve yourself?

i don't feel like there would be a point in me being alive
unless i was trying to improve myself (which in turn, improves the world around me)

[identity profile] kingnixon.livejournal.com 2001-12-21 08:08 am (UTC)(link)
granted. my point was simply that god's intentions are not a reason to avoid it, as there's a lot mroe pain in teh world than people are resopnsible for

[identity profile] xaotica.livejournal.com 2001-12-21 10:22 am (UTC)(link)
just because rapists exist doesn't mean i'm going to rape someone and use the excuse that 'well, there are already rapists out there so i might as well'...

so i don't think the fact that other people are causing pain is an excuse to do it yrself when there are other options
