Ok so
I have a question
for yall

and i expect all of you
to answer it or at least
post a comment with some
amateur llama porn

Here is the lead up

I was asked to pick up my mom's cousin
from the airport, which i gladly agreed to do
under the condition that the flight information
be emailed to me

well no one emailed me the info
[despite my frequent reminders]

and she arrived this morning
and lo and behold
no one was there

in addition my mother had
given me a hundred dollars
to take her and her companion
out tomorrow to do touristy stuff
[mom is out of town till Sunday]

well cousin is now all huffy
[apparently two hours in the airport]
[wasn't much fun]
and doesn't really want to
go out tomorrow

[side note: the person arriving]
[had promised twice to email me]
[her contact information]
[but my mom was also supposed to]

so the question is

should I keep the $100 as an Asshole tax
for having to deal with all this crap and look like a schmuck
because everyone else couldn't get their act together
or
should I return the money because it isn't going
to be spent as designated?

jaco said damn right keep it and babbled some analogy about canceled doctors appointments an hour before you have to be there and you still have to pay a 25$ fee. or something.

so yeah. you agreed to do a service. if the third party cancels, you should still retain the amount paid for said service. consider it fees for the hassle of clearing up your day.
