an intervention by friends and coworkers

yesterday
an
intervention
was performed
and yes
yours truely
was
the
subject

I was
working
and
a bit hectic at
that
when
several of
my co-workers
or clients
I guess is more
accurate
took me aside
and
said

"we need
to talk
we have all
decided that
an intervention
is necessary"

I
balked
of course
and
asked
what crack they
were smoking

they
enmass
circled me
and continued

"its about your
habit
your
chocolate milk
habit
we are
very concerned"

I laughed
of course

you see
the part of the
lab I have been
working the
last few weeks
is sans
trash can
and combined
with the fact
that I am
a lazy ass
or is it
that I always
have more important
things to do

I have not
disposed of
my various
beverage containers
the majority of which
are chocolate milk
as I generally
drink my sodas
in another part of
the lab
(don't ask)
so
what they saw
was
twenty or so
empty
chocolate milk
cartons

and were
apparently
concerned

of course
those were
accumilated
over several
weeks
so
they neednt
worry
but
anyway
