Internet Commerce and Communications will be phasing out Shell/UNIX access
as of May 15th 2001. Your other services, such as POPboxes, Web Hosting,
PowerDial, Warpwire, PowerDSL and Dedicated Internet Access will not be
affected.

If you used your Shell/UNIX account for e-mail, you will still be able to
access your Shell/UNIX e-mail via Mail programs that support the POP3
protocol (Eudora, Outlook Express, Netscape Mail)

If you used your Shell/UNIX account to maintain a personal webpage, you will
still be able to access your files via FTP.

And who says you can't run Linux and just use PINE on your own machine? I do.

(Actually, I use fetchmail/procmail/pine) - but fetchmail and pine will work.)

Get a Linux distribution that runs in a loop filesystem and you won't even have to repartition!
