Democracy is a farce and other ideas on governance

[plural]

Democracy is
as we all should know
a system by which the
common people decide enmass
usually through voting
the actions of the whole

unfortunatly
most people are too stupid
and uniformed to be worthy
of such a responsibility.

which is why I greatly appreciate
this great republic of ours.

while in its current state
we have managed to elect
the least qualified amongst us
to make our decisions.

I suppose
that only furthers the suggestion
that the average person is
incapable of even selecting
appropriately qualified leaders.

Although I believe
a large amount of the
blame for the current crop
of so called leaders
falls on the tabloid
style of journalism our
media has descended to.

if you had
commented on what I said
provided some sort of insight
into your opinion on it
rather than asking me to ask you
for your unholy canned message in a
four page letter that you wrote
once and wish to vomit upon me.

so I say to you good sir
in the most kindest of terms
either put yourself
on the line
lay yourself open here as I have done
that all may discuss freely
you merits and flaws
or
go fuck yourself
which you choose
I could care less
