They have been keeping me very busy
and I have not had nearly the opportunity to update that I would like
much of the reason is due to the limited hours of the hotel business center
which is most inconvenient for me.
So far my time in China has been a mind blowing experience
even if I have seriously slacked with regards to updating
but I will endeavor to be better in the future.
I am thinking it may be easier to compose a more lengthy entry offline
and merely post it when I can steal a few minutes.
while I (again) do not have nearly enough time to
get into much of the details of my experience here
I thought I would at least share with you
some of the photos which I have taken so far.
[with the caveat that I am only able to share]
[the lower quality versions until I return home]
edit: doh, I broke the links reorganizing the files,
and I have to go now but I will fix them as soon as I can
[my bad, sorry]

The view outside my hotel window. This is the city wall of Xi'an

An example of traditional music and historical dress in the city of Xi'an

A bicycle and moped parking lot
[estimate 400-500 bicycles]

Walking in the evening along the Xi'an city wall

An example of the electronic signs around Xi'an

The South Gate to the city of Xi'an

This is Tracie, she has been my primary handler while I've been in Xi'an

The entrance to School #83 where I have been teaching

A busy city street in the center of Xi'an

Interacting with one of my students

One of the 10 classes which make Senior 1 Grade (age 16) at the school
each class is around 50 students.

Group photo with one of my classes
and, as the rabbit said
I'm late
so to quote another rabbit
that's all folks
I hope to have a more hefty update soon
