The gods have
been most
fickle today

this afternoon
it began
to trickle snow
as if someone
was scattering them
by hand

Then it stopped

an hour later
it began again
only this time
the trickle
was replaced
with a more consistant
distribution

the snow flakes were huge
but alas they did not stick
and soon it stopped

Once more
a short time later
it began yet again
another more consistant
distribution
and this time
it started to stick
at first to the grass
and trees
and it gave
every effort to stick
to cars and pavement
but in the end
it was not to be

atleast not yet

in the morning

It would have been awesome if it had stayed, but we make the best of it. My roomate and I walked in the snow, giggling like school girls all the way downtown and back. Happy.

to catch the falling
flakes
