but I have precious few heros in this life
to neglect a proper tribute
when one leaves us.
Hunter S. Thompson commited suicide this morning
A legend in his own mind, and mine
his words and insights affected me greatly
not to mention his commitment to every form of debauchery
and his presence amongst us will be sorely missed
