I called the redhead back
[not calling was not really an option]

and I hate to disappoint the 13% of you who thought I should decline
or the 9% of you who thought I should make other plans

as I decided to accept
[which will make 77% of you happy]
partially I admit for exactly those reasons I should have made other plans

that being I am still damn attracted to her
and
yep
the sparks were still flying

I picked her up
and
there was a definite moment right then

where not only did I want to kiss her
but I felt like she wanted to as well
however I held back not sure exactly where things were at

we went to rent a movie
there were several moments in the store as we walked around trying to select a film

ranging from the casual brush to the standing a bit too close to a most humorously timed comment
[and I do believe it was not intentional as well, although it is always possible]

we were walking down the aisle
looking at films to our right
when she says

"I like just sort of wandering the aisles because it gives me ideas"

of course as she says this we reach the end of the aisle
and start to turn around to walk down the other side
and
which section is directly in front of us
but

"erotic drama"

you know those cheesy nearly soft core porn flicks
they show late at night with lots of boobies

anyway I was most amused

we rented the Spanish prisoner which I had seen before and she hadn't
but it had been years for me and I do so love that film, so I insisted

we returned to the car and there was another awkward pause
another moment
so this time I figured what the hell and kissed her

she said that she had wanted to kiss me when she first got into the car but hesitated
so I guess my senses weren't out of whack after all
*grin*

we made out in the car like high school kids for a lil while
then proceeded to drive back to my house
kissed in the driveway made it through the front door
[barely]
and all of our clothes became a misshapen pile on the floor of the foyer

we made love
[which will please 34% of you]
[but disappoint 30%]
[see mob rule isn't always a bad thing]

first in the foyer
then at the bottom of the stairs
then in the living room
and on the coffee table
before retiring to the couch

we watched the movie
naked in each others arms
and it was as good as I remembered
[both the movie and the naked in each others arms]
and it had been long enough that I couldn't remember it well either
[just for the movie]
so it was quite fun
[again both]

then it was time for the post movie sex and we got warmed up on the couch
before moving upstairs to the bed

as the old saying goes

"time flies when you are having sex"

and next thing I knew it was past three am

we decided to grab some food and talked about all sorts of stuff
even had a brief chat about us

after tonight I feel more assured about the whole thing
not that she offered any assurances but I could tell that she missed me
[she said so as well]
and that there was something there even if not admitted

I guess more than anything
I saw how much she was into me

physically, emotionally, mentally

not that I think she is entirely ready to admit to it

we made tentative plans to go to the gym on Monday

and smooched a long goodnight

and now
I am going to crash out
I have a speech to write in the morning
which I am not looking forward to
but
have to give it Monday
so
glory glory to procrastination

and
I also have to do laundry
tomorrow
happy happy joy joy

going to be an exciting day
