mmm mmm simply delicious

the date went great
I picked her up at her house
met her pup
a darling german shepherd
who was determined to tongue my ear
but
I told him I wasn't that kind of guy
and
he at least had to buy me dinner first

we went to the restaurant
and as I go there nearly every Friday night
I knew what I wanted
we chatted while she looked over the menu
the waitress came
and of course being the gentleman
I waited for her to order first
and
she ordered exactly
what I usually get
which was amusing

I ordered a bottle of wine
and
it was just swell
we talked and ate

and surprisingly as we talked
I became more interested in what she had to say
rather than less

we decided to take a walk after dinner
but
after a couple of blocks
ducked into a pub
because it was too damn cold

they had a band there
and a tiny dance floor
really tiny
as in
enough for one couple
to dance
if they were careful

and I started teaching her swing
which she picked up gracefully
and
within the first couple of minutes
had it down well enough
that people were starting to stare
and watch us

we then went and played some pool
talked with some mutual friends

we left a bit early
as she had to work in the morning
walked around briefly
fooled around on a partly lit
staircase
giggling at being in plain sight

took a cab back to my house
got back around 1am
and didn't even make it up the stairs
so instead we moved to the living room
scattered our clothing
fooled around on the couch

after an hour or so
of kissing and caressing
nibbling and fondling

we managed to move ourselves upstairs
and the other night seemed merely great
in comparison

the extra levels of intimacy and familiarity
[and a whole lot less booze]
upped it several notches

finally just before seven
we collapsed exhausted
and got barely two hours of sleep
before it was time to get up
for her to get ready for work

it took us nearly an hour
to get out of bed
between sleepy snuggles
and a morning quicky

she hopped in the shower
and shortly afterwards
headed for work

I was too restless for sleep
so I relaxed with a book for a lil while
then caught up with a friend on aim
and
now I am going to crash out
