since this is my journal (although it has be slightly hijacked)

My sister sent me pictures of my four year old nephew playing hockey
very cute

although, in accordance with family tradition
he has already been disowned
I come from a family of ardent Democrats
of which I am the black sheep by being disgusted equally with both parties
and being generally a conservative person

my political theory can be summed up thus

I don't care what you do in the privacy of your own home
as long as you don't expect me to subsidize it.

apparently my sister ordered a pizza on election night
and was having a brief discussion with the delivery driver
about how tight the election was
my nephew chimed in

"I am going to vote for Bush"

my sister was "aghast" (humorously so)

apparently living in a heavily republican state like
south Carolina, has brought unintended influences
on my nephew

most amusing

I have to say I love being an uncle.
