about last night

[plural]

I hosted an after party
at my house last night
and
I think I must resign myself
to being a complete and utter slut

the night started out pretty relaxed
a friend of mine own a bar down here
and he invited me down for a private party
that one of the sororities was throwing at his club
as usual, I showed up fashionably late
which on this particular evening
was a bit too fashionable for the crowd
as they all went home around midnight
so my friend was closing up the place
we had a few drinks and the group of us
decided to go see Walrus play
[a great local band, I am friends with half of them]
at another club
[where I know almost everyone who works there]
I invited my friends from the first club
and my friends from the second club
and the band back to my place for some drinks
and everyone brought an crew
we ended up with over thirty people
and much drinking and dancing ensued
I gave half a dozen tours of my house
half of those to very attractive females
who I was smooching along the tour
my sheets and wine collection
seemed the most appreciated
most of the people rolled out around and
my phone had about twenty numbers added to it
[including the three women in question]
and a couple of friends hung out for a little while long
to play card and relaxed
we schmoozed for a while
they left
and I put my very drunk self
to bed

now I must clean up the place
it is entirely a mess
