about last night

twas a good time
all in all

great music and the live players
were pretty swell too
although this one chick
seemed to her role confused

she was singing unaccompanied
and it rather interfered with the flow of things
as people switched to recital mode

its a smooth lounge
the music is there to be enjoyed
while doing other stuff
i.e. dancing or schmoozing

as is my corruption
I somehow ended up in a poker game
which was low key and more educational than
for any sort of profit

there were several people who had little experience
I tried to explain to them that the cards were actually irrelevant
but
that seemed to be a bit of a stretch from their point of view

I didnt even bother with the old maxim

"If in the first five minutes of a game of cards
you can not tell who the mark is
you are it"

I was clumsily but charmingly hit on
by a pleasant lil eighteen year old girl
with quite an attractive figure
and
a disturbingly uncanny resembles
to harry potter from the neck up

I just do not think I could go through with tapping that
maybe even I have morals somewhere
*wink*

after the event
I allowed myself to be led around campus
to various hotspots *grin* of college life
which greatly reinforced my belief that an attempt
to live in a college dorm would have been tantamount
signing up for lifetime internment to a mental institution
[you dont think my lawyers would let me go to prision do you *grin*]

end up in a dorm lounge
watching monty python and the holy grail
which was fun
it has been a long time
since I watched that

nice group of folks
some pleasant conversation
and a good bit of sitting back and watching
the various interactions between people
which
was highly amusing

well I have lots of organizing to do
before the folks arrive tomorrow
cant have mother see the place
as it is now
god knows she would never leave
if she did

*laughs softly*

ah I am in a good mood
