pluralI am planning to go to Whistler with a bunch of my friends
for Thanksgiving (my parents decided to do the romantic couple thing in the Bahamas this year)
so no family event anyway
Originally the idea was
a bunch of guys
four days of great skiing
now the idea has blossomed I guess
a guy is bringing his GF
which is fine
even though I don't much care for her
she has one of the little dogs
that she carries in a purse like bag everywhere
and is a strict devotee of Chanel anything
she is shallow and annoying to me
Then today it gets passed along
that she wants us to uninvite
another friend of ours
who happens to be her cousin as well
because there is some tension between them
Quite frankly I don't like her
But more than anything else
the drama just annoys me
the other organizer of the trip
was relating this crap to me
I just said this
they are both welcome
and I am not going to exclude either regardless of my disposition
but they had better both agree to leave the drama behind
if I have to waste skiing time
to mediate some inane BS
I am going to be very unhappy
I think I will make sure to bring
an ample supply of duct tape
worse comes to worse
I can just bind an gag em both
throw them in a closet
and hit the slopes

And, ahem, Coco C. had a marvelously entertaining life, but as far as someone being all "Chaneled-out", I agree = ICK.
YOU CANNOT AVOID DRAMA WITH A GAL LIKE THIS AROUND! sorry. but it's virtually guaranteed.
I Whistler-ed last Christmas holiday and loved every minute of the beauty and the skiing and the people...but if the folks you go with are the folks you party with...good luck to ya with Cocogirl! ;- /
