cleaning my house
and doing assorted things

not to have furniture?

how long can I get away with
the just moved here
haven't had a chance to buy any yet
excuse

cause I really have not been in the mood
to go furniture shopping

but have no furniture

actually
that isn't exactly true

I have the following furniture

a bed
a nightstand
a folding chair
a beach style chair
a wine rack
a dvd rack
a card table [for me puter]
a magazine rack
and a lamp

hell if I put it all in one room
it
would almost seem adequate

and in other furniture related news
[if you ask how it is related]

I met a girl today
well that isn't true
I met her a while back
and have talked with her for a few minutes
on a couple of occasions
but
never have really paid
any attention to the words
coming out of her mouth

and
actually
I didn't really talk to her today
other than
to compliment her pants
[they were groovy]
and
nod sagely while she bragged
that they were wrinkle free
just out of the dryer
they have a perma crease

anyway
a strange thing has happened recently
all over campus
I see these hot little coeds
but I have no interest in any of them

I stare at their tits when they talk to me
not because I am all that interested in their tits
rather they don't get nearly as offended when
they realize I haven't listened to a word they said

not that they still don't get offended
it is just for a more flattering reason
I suppose

anyways back to those pants

and for some reason decided
I was interested in what was in em

actually listen some
the next time she talks to me

speaking of which
listening and not listening
that is

if a woman asks if you are listening
never lie and say yes
they can actually tell the things
and yes it is a lie
you might have thought you were listening
but trust me
after the first couple of minutes you weren't

you see
your mind starts wandering
after that tone comes into the conversation
what tone? there is a tone that women get
when they are going to talk forever
and never shut up
men are trained to tune out
any words said in that tone
we can try to listen
but it is hopeless task

so in the future
be polite and stare at her tits
when your mind starts to wander
then
when she asks you if you are listening to her
be honest and say no
