(a)Irish Republican freedom fighters aged between 17 and 40.
(b)Russian resistance groups aged between 17 and 40.
(c)American anarchist groups or cults aged between 17 and 40.
(d)Muslim extremists aged between 17 and 40.
Sure, Muslim extremists did all those things. Other people have wronged us since 1968. Our homegrown wackos are the worst.. Massive school shootings, blowing up Federal Buildings, assassinating presidents, etc.
Everyone just wants someone to blame for everything. If we start only paying attention to one group, it will be a huge mistake. Not to mention how many people's rights will be violated. I'm one of the seemingly few Americans not willing to give up their rights so the government can become Big Brother.
How many of those things would have happened if the US government had better International Relations instead of doing whatever it pleased, knowing they were pissing off a bunch of "Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40"?

however, egypt's president was assassinated that same year (1981)...by muslim extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40
168 people died in the oklahoma city bombing...the 9/11/01 attacks killed thousands
so in what way are our "homegrown wackos" the worst?
no rational person is saying we should only be suspicious of muslim males, nor that we should be suspicious of all muslim males at all times
however, it would be horribly foolish of our government not to be more suspicious of muslims than any other group...since the only people in this world that have declared war on our country are muslims

Anyway, I happen to agree, sort of. Yeah, we should look out for radical Muslims, but not all Muslims and not without keeping our eyes open to everyone.
The main reason of my comment... That little "quiz" thingy has been going around for a year now, for the sole purpose of generating a "HELL YEAH!" reaction. It's propaganda. It's manipulative. People shouldn't buy into everything they hear or read.. people should question and examine. I believe

i've just heard too many arguments from people saying we shouldn't be looking for anyone in particular...that everyone is equally likely to be a terrorist...so all searches and such should be completely random
since we know radical muslims are targetting us, we should be targetting them
if the IRA ever starts targetting us, then we should start targetting them
none of this means i think we should stop watching our non-muslim extremists...just that we should pay extra attention to the groups we know are looking to attack us
