Battleground Analysis
Congratulations!
You have been awarded the TPM medal of honour! This is our highest award for outstanding service on the intellectual battleground.

The fact that you progressed through this activity neither being hit nor biting a bullet suggests that your beliefs about God are internally consistent and very well thought out.

A direct hit would have occurred had you answered in a way that implied a logical contradiction. You would have bitten bullets had you responded in ways that required that you held views that most people would have found strange, incredible or unpalatable. However, you avoided both these fates - and in doing so qualify for our highest award. A fine achievement!

How did you do compared to other people?

60070 people have completed this activity to date.
You suffered zero direct hits and bit zero bullets.
This compares with the average player of this activity to date who takes 1.33 hits and bites 1.08 bullets.
7.85% of the people who have completed this activity, like you, emerged unscathed with the TPM Medal of Honour.
48.09% of the people who have completed this activity took very little damage and were awarded the TPM Medal of Distinction.

i havent looked at the actual quiz yet so i may be misinterpreting, but i find it rather sketchy that they are praising you in part for not holding "views that most people would have found strange, incredible or unpalatable". conformity is an intellectual virtue?

not really a conformity thing
as much as
trying to limit the scope of your rationalizations

basically by using a norm
they can measure consistency
overall without needing to take into account
whatever justifications you may have for those
beliefs which appear to contradict

Biting a bullet - they term for a non norm response means that your ideas are more likely logically questionable and beyond the scope of the test to measure. sort of a half way point.

You have answered questions in an inconsistent manner but not a directly contradictory one.
This inconsistency may be found hard to swallow by others.

at least that is my take on it

oh

one psuedo clarification...

I believe that when they talk about view that others
may find hard to swallow, they are not discussing conformity of ideas,
as much as logical inconsistencies.

For example if you belied two things, which appeared to have a logical inconsistency, then I would have a hard time with your belief unless you were able to explain the appearance of inconsistency remarkably well, and obviously this test is unable to gauge the quality of your explainations

Congratulations!
You have been awarded the TPM medal of distinction! This is our second highest award for outstanding service on the intellectual battleground.
The fact that you progressed through this activity without being hit and biting only one bullet suggests that your beliefs about God are internally consistent and well thought out.
A direct hit would have occurred had you answered in a way that implied a logical contradiction. The bitten bullet occurred because you responded in a way that required that you held a view that most people would have found strange, incredible or unpalatable. However, because you bit only one bullet and avoided direct hits completely you still qualify for our second highest award. A good achievement

that doesn't seem to be what it means, from what i could tell. it's nothing to do with consistency, biting a bullet is just that your belief would seem weird to most people. i think that's what it says anyway.

i just got around to actually takign the thing, i bit no bullets but got 3 hits. i disagree with their reasoning for all 3 though :)
