President Bush appeared today at a press confrence held by The International Fraternal Order of Clowns and Jokers confirming long held suspicions that his entire presidency has indeed been a joke. According to an IFOCJ official it all began as an innocent April Fools joke of submitting Bush's name as a candidate for President in the 2000 Federal Elections. The rampant success of this initial gag lead to the inauguration of George W. Bush as America's 43rd president.
While the specific pranksters responsible for what is widely accepted as one of histories ten most successful practical jokes were not identified, IFOCJ officials assured us that the individual responsible were Clowns and Jokers with years of experience and significant safety training. They concluded by cautioning amateur pranksters not to try pranks such as these at home, suggesting that the aspiring prankster instead practice age-old gags such as loosing the caps of salt and pepper shakers at their neighborhood diner.
