Insanity marches on

I've invited two of my political science professors to dinner a week from now (they're an item)
so that we can finally rant and rave about whatever comes to mind
without having the constraints of time or the assigned class topic
interfering with our babbling

and I've decided to go all out
seeing as they moved here from the city
and would actually be able to appreciate it
as opposed to the local yokels here
where my casual efforts easily match the finer restaurants

working on the menu at the moment
here is what I am thinking so far:

so now I have to scramble like mad to a) see what can be acquired in Sydney
and b) have what cannot shipped in by Friday so it can be ready for Saturday evening.

in other news

my last midterm is on Tuesday, so the rest of this weekend is shot
[especially since I have neglected a few of the readings for that class]

I have gotten three midterm assignments back so far
the letter grades assigned were
A, B+ and A- respectively

today would be a glorious day for mother to decide to return my calls
I've only left her a message every day this week
but oh well
it isn't like I was the one doing her a favor or anything

*smarmy grin*

oh screw it, I'm off to the gym
