LJ weirdness

Umm for some reason

nearly a month ago

so if I didnt reply before

I took bettie out today
ran her by a bike shop with a good rep
even though I had managed to bleed the line myself

figured I would just have em do a few lil things
which I didnt wanna deal with

like clean and oil the chain after
all the dirt and sand roads I've been riding on

also my throttle had been a lil sticky
and I figured I might as well have em deal with it
cause taking the grips off is a pain

while I was waiting
I was talking with one of the sales guys
trading war stories
always good fun

and of course
whenever two riders
get talking about bikes
women come up

the sales guy says
I told my wife
she isnt number one
my bike is

to which I replied
my women are always number one
but they had best not mess with number two

besides
I always promise to spend at least
as much time and attention riding them
as I do bettie

which makes
my having a sexy italian mistress
much easier for them to swallow

well an hour or so, and 21$ later (woot)
she was ready

as I said
I knew the throttle was a lil sticky
but I guess as it happened gradually
I didnt notice as much
because damn

damn

damn

was there a big difference

now she response to the slightest twitch

with a

zoom zoom zoom

and

yanks the corners of my mouth back
into one huge face splitting grin

so I ran the rest of my errands
then headed out to the freeway
for a lil more

zoom zoom zoom

and

now I am home
beaming like a 15 year old
who just lost his virginity
to a sport illustrated swimsuit model

gonna cool off a lil
maybe get something to eat
and then I will wash and polish
every last inch of her
till she gleams

*grins*

one flick of the wrist
the warmth of the summer
just seems to fly by

Some times it is worth the bother

I often play in debate

usually it is my substitute for not having cable television
but on occasion I actually have an interesting conversation

This is the latter

so I thought I would share it.
