A brief message from our sponsors

the vineyard is wonderful
[as always]
spent the entire day today
walking the beach
took a few pictures as well
I was planning on leaving tomorrow
but unfortunately some schmuck
broke the head light on my ducati
so
I will be waiting for the new one to arrive
which will hopefully be friday
so that sucks
but then again
another week on the beach
oh
twist my arm
speaking of arm twisting
on the way down here from boston
a guy in a ferrari pulls up besides me
ogling the ever so sexy bettie
so I grin and nod
and we play
dont think we went much over 120
but
it was fun
I was not at all surprised
that he was on the same ferry
to the vineyard as I was
and we talked about bikes and cars
and general enjoyment of life
so as conversations among strangers
generally do
it meandered over to the subject of work
turns out the fellow in question
owns the celtics
which was pretty interesting
he invited me to a party
over at his house on friday
which consisted of a lot of folks
sitting on the back porch
smoking cigars and drinking scotch
or
in other words
a splendid marthas vineyard time
I suppose now
I will have to find a way to be in boston
during basketball season at some point
if I am going to take him up on
his offer to hook me up with tickets
ran into an old friend saturday
who dragged me along to a party
at a house full of irishmen
and while I was only pretending to be drinking
[I was riding after all]
a riproaring good time was had by all
belting out old irish drinking songs
till the sun came up
anyway
I am off
got an ultimate frisbee game here shortly
and a dinner date tonight
with of all people
a redheaded jewish girl
from Greensboro
be well my loves
and I should be back in Nova Scotia
end of the weekend
but I have a date with a nubile swiss chick
who is staying out by the horse farm
so depending on how good of time I make
[and how well the date goes]
I may be out at the farm
till the middle of next week
ah well
love love
