Snowblind and Trapped [ok so not really]
Dec. 4th, 2003 04:46 pmI have been reading a book
several actually
but
the one I wanted to mention
is
called "Intelligence in War"
and is a fascinating look at the use of strategic and real time intelligence
in modern warfare over the past two hundred plus years
it is nice to have good books again
the bookstore out here sucks
and hardly has any hardbound books
I do so despise paperbacks
I spent nearly four hundred dollars
at the book store in Boston
so I have
a nice stack of hardbound books
to read now
mmm
tasty
including several non-fictions that I have been wanting to read
and
for once life has been cooperating
Tuesday morning dumped
twelve to fourteen inches of snow
the world is covered with a white blanket
and
I am pretending I am trapped in the house
well
at least until I need either
food, or booze
been chilling and reading my books
cuddling with my cat
sitting in the stream
of the cuzzi jets
for hours
lounging round the house
nekkid in my bath robe
eating olives and cheese
generally being a drunkard, a lecher and a prEvert
proving that old maxim that
a sordid and unhealthy sex life does not actually require other people
and
with that
I will again
retire to a comfortable place
