note to self

when dealing with the compression ratio required
to launch large balls of exploding sparkly things
hundreds of feet in the air
in celebration of the fourth of july
close enough doesnt cut it
and
always
always
buy the thicker pvc pipe

dont worry folks nobodys was injured
[the king isnt a complete moron]
and I had everyone
standing well outside of harms way

but instead of having a thirty foot blue starburst
explode
three hundred feet above us
it went off
about 22 inches off the ground
and
blew the end of the PVC pipe to pieces

though as ground effects go
it was pretty damn neat

oh and I got a disk consistancy error on one of my drives
so I have to run a disk surface scan on my arrays
depending on how much fixing that scan has to do

I could be down anywhere from 12-24 hours
just so you know
that I am missing you
