About last night

went to machinewerks
as planned
amazingly enough
even 11pm was too early

I danced
I love to dance
although when
it comes to modern dance
I will make no statements as to competency
it is different than say
ballroom where you have
a measurable matrix

ran into the usual assortment
of old friends
and of course
met the usual assortment
of new ones

had a brief but enjoyable discussion
on the merits of Henry Miller,
specifically his book "Tropic of Cancer"
with rosegris

and enjoyed the
effusive affections which
a particularly joyous and
inebriated friend of mine
saw fit to disperse

all in all
a most pleasurable
evening

To the nines, with 40's style

dinner jacket
with black
slacks

ready to lay over
