managle by MSN
and when i get back
i will fix em in photoshop
and slap em on a host
that can handle the resolution
(the original pictures are over 2mbs in size)

One of the main streets in San Jose - it is called Paseo Colon or Central Avenue


general vicinity of the Poas volcano


for all you coffee junkies
this is a coffee plant
the red berries are ripe for picking
tastes sorta of sweet sort of funny
and has two translucent seeds that
eventually are processed into the
familar brown coffee bean


this is a closed wing picture of a butterfly
the top wings are a brilliant blue
but the lil fucker wouldnt let me
get a good shot of it


the owl butterfly, the large eye
looking coloration is supposed to
fool predators into thinking it is an
owl


Green Poison Dart frog, rather friendly fellow
for being so deadly
then again if you can kill anything
that fucks with you
why not be a nice guy


getting this photo was painful
i stood still trying to breathe
as slowly as i could for almost
twenty minutes to get this hummingbird
to ignore me and sit long enough for this shot
there was a really beautiful purple hummingbird
that didnt believe my pretend to be a tree act
so i couldnt get a shot of it.
